Grades K–1 · Ages 5–7
STEM Sparks
Big wonder for beginning learners through safe, playful investigations, noticing, building, sorting, and drawing.
Mathfa STEM / Grades K–8
A four-level, hands-on learning journey that helps children observe, question, build, test, record, and explain the world around them.
Choose a starting point
Each level changes the language, independence, and depth of investigation while preserving a familiar learning rhythm.
Grades K–1 · Ages 5–7
Big wonder for beginning learners through safe, playful investigations, noticing, building, sorting, and drawing.
Grades 2–3 · Growing independence
Learners observe patterns, measure results, build models, and explain what their evidence shows.
Grades 4–5 · Deeper inquiry
Students test variables, analyze data, connect systems, and take on richer science and engineering questions.
Grades 6–8 · Advanced application
Middle-grade learners use research, design thinking, coding, and evidence to solve authentic challenges.
The Mathfa learning rhythm
Every activity moves from curiosity to evidence. Learners see a real situation, try something purposeful, record what happened, connect the mathematics, and share what they discovered.
Notice details, ask a useful question, and make a prediction.
Use safe materials to test, model, code, create, or compare.
Mark, tally, sort, draw, measure, or graph the result.
Explain the evidence and connect it to math and real work.
A connected book library
The roadmap spans weather, animals, plants, water, space, robotics, coding, AI, energy, engineering, and more. Titles become more rigorous as learners move through the four levels.
The library is being developed in stages. Individual title availability will be labeled clearly as books and resources are released.
Follow the Mathfa STEM library as new books, selected resources, and level-specific learning paths become available.
